Re: Confederate Players Needed Urgently
Both sides have right at 34,000 troops right now. But without question, the Rebs need all the help they can get. We Union fellas are quite salty. First engagement of the new campaign tonight. Buford's Cav vs Robinson's Cav in a meeting engagement. Union victory.

I am wondering if anyone is recording these games, then converting them over to ver first generation black & white style? From what I have read, didn't moving pictures start back then? or around then?
Do you good people need someone like myself to join? I could carry a stretcher for ya?
Later!

Yes, Mikesla, we do need new players to join up. And from the looks of things, we'll be needing reinforcements!
Enlistement links are at the top of this page. You may join either side you wish, naturally.
And that Union victory they're crowing about was a very minor skirmish, with just 75-28 casulaties on each side respectively. Hardly much of a fight! Next week I inist, the real slugfest will begin and those Union boys will know what a Confederate victory really looks like!

Is there a way for a new person to enter the lobby and watch a multi player game before participating in a game?

We do have some scenarios that have "observers" but we don't use them very often. The best thing for you to do might be to be on around 7 PM EST and just join a game (I assume you have the full version?) If you're not comfortable doing much, you can always take the army or corps commander and then you won't be responsible for anything, as usually all of the subordinate command slots will be filled, depending on the size of the OOB and number of players present. Mikesla was working on broadcasting some footage of games he was playing but I don't think he's going to remain active (at least with us).
