Blue_Grey_Mod v01
Pulled - Due to Multiple Problems!

II'm working on this, but now I understand about the limitations of only so much ram for running the game, and this Mod pushes that limit too much!

This will probably have to be broken up into different Mods!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a mod that will give mainly the confederate forces multiple uniforms to represent the rag-tag look of the Civil-War-Era.

This is a Hi-Lo-Res Mod- to give you the option of playing with what works best on your computer. Yes , I put a lot more effort in the Hi-Res confederate forces, as you can tell! These work excellent with RebBugler’s flags.

Confederate Forces: High-Res contains
Default – Brown Blanket
Default – Maroon Blanket
Default – Grey
Default – Dingy Union Blue - modified
TC2M – Butternut
TC2M – Blanket
TC2M – Haversack
TC2M – Grey
Default – Union Blue
Default – Union Backpack

Union Forces: High-Res contains
TC2M – Iron Brigade
TC2M – Union Plain

Lo-Res contains

All above mentioned except the TC2M – Grey – this is still pending due to an error that I can-not figure out!

Tim’s – Officer’s are still in the game – I have removed them from my game, to save on memory – and just used a standard-soldier to act as the flag-man .

New Firing Sequence – this has been added to the game, so instead of the men raising their weapons only to reload them – they should now continue to rod the weapon, and then fire.

Please bear in mind that I can-not take credit for any of this work, this is all based on the tremendous sacrifice of others, and I’m just changing things around a bit!

Credit goes to the following:
Norb & Team
Tim’s – excellent graphics
TC2M – for stealing their work
Little Powell – testing, hosting, and coming up with the idea about making a mod.
RebBugler – testing, and pointing out a glitch in the graphics. [/b]

Readme – extract the file to the Desktop – Drag-Copy-into your Mods Folder.

Any Problems please post them here!

DaV,

Brother, will this Mod override my existing uniform mods, or should I reset by mods back to stock?

Davinci,

I just tried it out using Blood In The Run, and everything ran and looked fine. You guys are all doing a great job, keep up the good work.

DaV,

Just tried to install the Mod. Came up with a "this file is corrupted" error message as I dragged it to the "Mods" folder. Any thoughts?

Jack

Also, can I install the file items seperately, rather than drag the whole file at once?

Jack,

I had the same thing, but tried it anyway. It ran fine for me.

Thing is, I don`t drag the file, i click the link, open it, and extract the file directly to the Mod folder.

I have always worked from the Desktop – but I understand that everyone does things slightly different.

My Internet speed is terrible, so I can’t give you a direct walk-through!

But, it should work something like this…..
1) Download onto Desktop
2) Extract to Desktop
3) Open Windows Explorer
4) Expand you SOW-directory so that you can see the Mods folder
5) Click on the Desktop – to view all of the files
6) Drag the Blue_Gray_Mod – folder into your SOW\Mod – folder.

No – it has a different name then the Confederate Uniform Mod – so it will not over-write the previous files.

Hope this Helped!

DaV,

Did exactly that. That's when I got the "corrupted file" message.
