I would have rather got the game from steam, but I found it on "Gamersgate".

Gamersgate is ok, but there are no forums and thats where I go to see if game is any good or not.
Then I found this site. :)

In my humble opinion, Im glad that Steam turned you down. The support from Steam has always been terrible for me. Unanswered emails and some of the rudest support I have ever dealt with. I have walked away from games that could only be played on Steam and I know several other people who feel the same. I would have missed out on this so Im glad they were dumb enough to turn you guys down :)

Hi.

I am one of those people. I have never liked them since Steam was created for Halflife 2. They were not very bright back then, quite happy to see that they haven't changed any.

Oh well, it's their loss, and a gain for NSD because I happen to know a great many who will not even go near a game which can be found on Steam. So I would say that NSD has dodged a bullet there.

later.

No, it would be great if it were on steam, it would be a lot more publicity. It could only be a problem for those who dislike steam if it were steam-only. It is too bad they turned it down, hopefully someday they will reconsider.

To each his own, whatever gets people to buy the game. :)

steam is a big problem if you have poor internet connectivity.nothing to do with your isp or what equipment you have in your machine but due,as in my case to having a snail slow exchange.
i wouldnt come anywhere near this game if it were on steam, neither would others i know.
stick to your own ways, you dont need steam.

We would never go exclusive with anyone. It would have been just another way to get more exposure.

Hi Norb.

I think the whole point behind folks like myself, and many others out there hear the words "you can buy the game on Steam", we walk away from the product. It's more along the same lines as being known by the company you keep sort of thing. It really doesn't matter if the product can be purchased from other sources, it's just that Steam for myself, and for others just makes feelings of distrust resurface, and a level a hatred for that company. Steam has really done allot of damage too many many people.

Anyway, I just thought I would put my last two cents in.

Norb, that sounds like a fear of commitment to me. Do we need to get you and Steam in counseling?

dont be fooled norb.steam has ruined other games out there and prevented a lot of people from playing.
you may find steam exacts too high a price for its 'benefits'.cheers
