That's one of my all time favorite Civil War paintings. The regiments of the Irish Brigade in the foreground are joined together (separated by their regimental flags) while you can see the other brigades of Caldwell's Division waiting to be deployed in the background.In honor of the Irish Brigade- 63rd, 69th, and 88th New York along with the 116 Pennsylvania and 28th Massachusetts.
