I too have troops burrowing into the ground when taking cover. I have installed latest Beta patch and hadn't noticed this previously.

Not to be impatient or anything, but is there any news on the bug check for this problem?

Yes, we are working on that right now. I fixed this but caused some other issues that I'm looking into.

right,just installed the 1.4 patch having fired up the game and disabled the mods i have installed.
my game now tells me my install is corrupt.
i am technically an ork so this is very annoying!
what the hell happened? my avast antivirus flagged it as suspicious.
so does this mean ive got to uninstall my game and put it on again? how do i reactivate it if thats what ive got to do?
im due to leave on holiday late tonight so i thought id have a patched game and now its all turned to rats! cheers

just fired up my game again but told my antivirus to ignore it and it opened as normal.
do this mean the game is working?is there a visual indicator somewhere in the opening screens to tell me the patch is installed?
if this is correct,i did something technical!! hurrah! cheers

When you start the game, at the main menu in the upper left hand corner, it should say :

SOWGB 1.4026

Yes. The version you are running is in the up left part of your menu screen and the activate / deactivate option is in the down right corner.
