I also agree with Garnier that MP mods should be considered or allowed in the short, rather than long term.
I still play TC2M and at the moment am involved in the development of a Napoleonic Mod for it. I beleieve it would be a huge boost to MP and the game and would encourage more Europeans to play the game if this was converted to SOW and especially MP.

+1 ...pretty please :)

And we promise not to bring related stability issues or complaints to your door, only ask the chance to mod/test/fix things in MP at our own expense. Thanks.

We do plan on looking into it for the patch. Many members of the team want this as well. I just have to figure out a good way to set it up and at the same time prevent mods from messing up MP.

It's something that we've been bugging Norb about for a while now and we'll get it in there.. :)

It just opens up a whole can of worms of things that could go wrong. I can just see it now "oh no.. the game just crashed... ok everyone, exit the game and disable your mods"... "I do have my mods disabled.. Wait, I still had one enabled.. Ok lets try it again... Ah crap, I still have one enabled.. yeah but it should still work if you have this file.."... etc. etc. etc. etc... :)

So Norb will have to come up with a serious verification system that will check to make sure that everyone has the same exact mod files, or the games will always go out of sync.
