This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

These are awesome images, leafless trees... it even looks like snow on the ground. Is this a mod?
That is snow thawing out. Good eye there SaddleTank!

Bragg (I hope you are related to him to take on that wretched name they should have nick-named him "Piece meal Bragg" or "En Echelon Bragg" Every battle, Shiloh (Hornets Nest), Perryville, Murfreesboro, and Chickamauga, all attacks were "En echelon or in piecemeal fashion. Just joshing you Bragg!
Check your PM brother, I will get that OOB change going for you.

Buff... that screens looks amazing. They highlight in comparison with the TC2M ones...

Is the horizon fog/depth a new effect? It looks fantastic and real! Real winter. I do not remember have seen it in game.

That's why I'm asking... but 2Texas isn't telling! Grrr...

Maybe the next release? What important battles were fought in later winter?
HITS & Couriers - a different and realistic way to play SoW MP.

You Guys - do know that anyone can add fog to any of the existing maps.....right ?

There is a fog thread somewhere in the older pages in the Modifications section.

I located the fog threads. It appears to be something about FogEnable=1 FogNear and FogFar.
Where in the ini must that lines be added exactly?
Can the ini file be used as a mod?
Must I uncheck read only?
Any serious performance hit?

Sorry for the questions battery... :) but the effect is fantastic and I did not know about it.

Greetings

Start another Topic about this, The Reb's Flag thread is starting to go in the wrong direction.
