After capturing many guns with cavalry (YAY!) - Having probs gaining control and moving them. Not sure about the use of 'attach / detach'. I've captured 10 - 15 guns, but moving them solo is a non-starter.
Qs: (1) To attach a gun (presumably to it's 'new' commander?) is TC supposed to be 'off'? Does it matter if the gun is limbered / unlimbered when I try to 'attach'?
(2) Is there a max number of guns a commander can assume control of? Seems like the first 3 or 4 captured guns attached fine, but there are at least 3 or 4 others that show up with 'gold' icons as now under his command, but do not seem to want to take orders (line up in road column etc.).
Can someone enlighten me as to the nuances of assuming control of captured guns? How would I detach a gun from one commander and attach it to another? (If I'm running up against trying to attach too many captured guns to a commander, what do I do?)
Thanks in advance for reading and any thoughts shared.

Captured guns will not limber.

Which is completely logical if you consider what often happens among the limbers and horse teams when a battle breaks out among a battery's guns.
