The patch is new to me

I found a patch on this site yesterday. 51MB:sick: ! For some reason my download manager would not capture it; so, for three grueling hours I had to watch to make sure the phone company, the server, or the mirror did not drop the call. Not that I could do fiddly about it except start over.

I've read so much confusing stuff about patches on this site that I wonder what I'm patching.:unsure:

I see from my email that the CD shipped today.

Version 103 is the latest patch and it can be found here:

So if you download the game or install the CD version, all you have to do is patch it with patch 103 and you are good to go.

Yep. That's it, all 51 MB of it. One reason I did not try to download the game was that I figured from the system requirements that it would the size of an elephant. Try putting an elephant though the phone line at 5.5 kb/sec.

There was another attraction to the CD. It has, according to the description a printed manual. The manual for Second Manassas is on the disk. You can't flip through a manual that's on the screen!
