Re:Question about the latest video about graphical display of fences
<t>@ Amish John<br/> <br/> Well, as a matter of fact I'm not living in the Netherlands. Half of Belgium (Northern Part) speaks Dutch - in Flanders (as in Flanders fields).<br/> <br/> The weather here is quite cold at the moment, they forecasted some 14 days of cold winter weather.<br/> <br/> Thank y...

Question about the latest video about graphical display of fences
<t>I like the new video a lot on you tube.<br/> <br/> But I have a question relating to the fences you are displaying in the game - instead of straigth lines, some of the fences form a "hooked" pattern. I don't know the word in English, but in Dutch we call it "zig zag" like boats are sailing when t...

Re:November Screenies??
Just for those reasons I started a TC2M game in open battle. I played Longstreets corps against a couple of (small) Union divisions. Made me feel like Gettysburg on day 1 - so I'm looking forward to this game !

Re:Question about "retreating" screenshot
<r>I must say that a nice addition should be the option to un-TC a retreating unit. This doesn't change anything at the retreat - but it will bring the unit back under the command of its brigade general - making it a viable regiment for the remainder of battle.<br/> <br/> In TC2M I often find regime...
Re:Flags?
Honestly, I Agree with Hancock - I hope the flags will be improved.
For now, they are a little "simple" to say the least.
I really hope they'll see a quality increase - f.e. by having better graphics - or by using state flags as Hancock suggested.

Re:Questions about the new game
<r>Norb, I would like to join Ironsight here. It was one of the topics I once launched on the TC2M forums.<br/> <br/> In addition to Ironsight's plea, I would like to ad following argument = when a TC unit retreats, you can't un-TC it. That means this unit will be moving out of the field of operatio...

Re:Questions about the new game
<r><B><s></s>norb wrote:<e></e></B> <QUOTE><s>
</s>That's an interesting point. I guess that I would be in favor of allowing you to stop the retreat if you called it. But if the AI causes it, then they go back the entire distance as a penalty for not taking care of your guys. I know in ...

Re:Questions about the new game
<t>Something I really missed in TC2M was the fact that retreating units with a high to good morale, could not be stopped in their retreat.<br/> <br/> This remark doesn't seem "academical" at all - no sir - for sure for the CSA it's a needed command to use.<br/> <br/> Let me elaborate. F.e. Hoods div...
