This one on Sickles isn't out until the end of June according to Amazon, but it might be a good read:

I got the Gettysburg Companion not too long ago by Mark Adkin, it's a little on the pricy side for a book (mine was $70) but I think it's well worth it. The book isn't a battle history, like Sears' work, but more of an attempt to dissect all the particles which make up the Gettysburg Campaign and then trying to see what went wrong where or what worked where. There are countless maps and side boxes with bits of information
Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.

You might take a look at this one:

The authors have a serious background in the study of the battle.

i was considering that one, especially after following Hessler's recent entries on GB Daily... i realize i'm in danger of committing a cliche, but IMO whoever did the cover design did a nice job. This one on Sickles isn't out until the end of June according to Amazon, but it might be a good read:

The sample maps shown on the link you gave us are really well done. This book looks like it might be worth it just for the maps down to regimental level with multiple positions per regiment!
