Yeah, it's almost scary how realistic the smoke is. Definitely the best smoke effects I have ever seen in a game. Derek and the art team has done an outstanding job.

Really looks good. Yeah, that smoke is a big improvement. Speaking of smoke, does every musket discharge smoke when fired or is it just random muskets to add just enough smoke to look convincing?

Every soldier fires individually and the smoke comes out when their weapon fires. That's nothing really new though, as that's the way I've always coded it. I don't like games that fake that stuff. Each soldier finds their own target, loads their rifle, and fires. Maybe that's why the game gets slow sometimes
