Yeah, this line, hundreds of times:
10:06:47 Error opening file: C:\Users\Sam Smith\Documents\SowWL\Saved Games\Replay\_active_replay.log

The replay that you tried to open is corrupt, delete it.

The game stored the data for the replay in this file, but you have also errors for the autosaves files. Is like the path of saves is no more where expected or the game is missing permission to open the files.

I deleted the file _active_replay.log & played a game with no problems. I checked the log file & there are still the same errors, how do I stop the errors?

Is the game version correct?

Game Launched
15:09:35 Version:SOWWL
1.0106

Shouldn't the game version be 1.03

The version is ok; it seems you have problems with the path. Do the errors appear with all the mods disable? You can try to set a diffent work directory for the game using this extension in the link call on the desktop

"c:\(gamedirectory\gameexe)" -P"(new path)"

If you use the steam version you can set the -P"(new path)" in the property of game from the game library (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -JWMT-2947)

Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam and select Properties.

Under the General tab click the Set launch options... button.

Enter -P"E:\temp" in the box which appears ( E:\temp is an example it can be whatever existing directory on your HD )

gives ok and launch the game, a new SOWWL directory will be created inside the directory you specified.

Of course this operation will reset your game settings as after a fresh installation, but you can copy the old SOWWL.ini from your old SOWWL directory to the new one, to avoid to set them manually, the same for recover old save files.

In any case before try to check if with vanilla you have the messages before do this.

The game is installed in D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Scourge of War Waterloo

Should I put this in the -P"C:\temp" Set launch options... button?

I just played a quick game with no mods & got the same errors.
