Caput as in, crashes to desktop? Just doesn't start at all? Any kind of error message?

Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi guys.

There are other players on Steam with the same issue and me too.

When you click on Enter Lobby nothing happens if not a message telling "Not connected to server". No crash or something else.

Also trying to make a new account didn't works.

The log show only this text.

Hosting a game via IP don't give problems to me.

EDIT I noticed now the problem is both with Gettysburg and Waterloo

Give this a shot. More of a workaround than a solution, but it should get you up and running again:

Edit your hosts file to re-direct to the new URL.

You'll need admin rights to edit this file

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

23.23.218.205 battlehqserver.wargamer.com

I tried to edit the file with Notepad with no luck.

I had to use Notepad++ which is free to download to edit and save. Then also Notepad seems to works.

Another issue could be that you have not admin rights.

naw, still no luck.... I have admin rights and tried to add the appropriate script to Hosts file... no difference in error message ref server...

I guess SOW Gettysburg, and Waterloo just aren't being supported anymore...
