Scourge of War Boards

First game sadly crashed for gcm, I don't understand why having great ping and no packet loss and have a great computer, is it because I have certain things selected for mods that aren't regular used that caused the crash maybe? I've been away from the game for quite sometime so any help would be great lol

We'll need more information to help troubleshoot the cause. Usually your SOWGB log file contains a clue (found in the game directly work folder.) If it crashes again, paste the contents of the log file here.

I also recently tried playing after a long hiatus. When I launch the game, the first
GUI pops up. I think I also get the music. When I click the PLAY button the following
content is added to C:\NorbSoftDev\Scourge of War - Gettysburg\Work\sowgb.ini

and the game hangs.

We had a hard drive failure a few months ago so I reinstalled the game.
I dind't notice any problems during the reinstall.

Try reinstalling again that looks like a corrupt file.

I never got the reinstall to provide all the missing files. I finally realized I still had my old WIN XP PC packed away. I found all the missing files on XP PC and transferred them to my new PC. Game is working again, without the music.
