Hi Davinci,

All the dat files you mention are there, the loading gets to a certain point and then crashes.
The log file is different each time - this is the latest crash point ...

I'm not sure what you mean here - I can't remove something that seems to be already missing and causing the game to crash, maybe some other, perhaps older flag mod, or something else needs to be activated that I don't have?

It's got to be something simple like that - or maybe brain fade on my part? ;)

AH - just tried a different OOB in sandbox and it loads ok, which makes me curious now as to why Mark's included OOB's don't work. It seems a pity they are problems here and that they are not being used.

It's a fantastic map!

OK, what that means it that when the Mod was created that particular flag was present on his System.

You don't have that particular flag - So, you have to work around the problem.

Locate where that flag is being called, either through the OOB, or the Scenario - and replace it with another flag.

Basically, any flag that you know that you have Installed.....

Once, you have done that.....Continue to Start the Game, knowing that it will Crash on the next error.

Locate that particular error, either flag or formation....Fix that, and then Restart and Crash the game.

Basically, if you continue this approach, you will fix all of the errors that is in the Scenarios.

I don't remember it being more than a dozen, but its been a while.

But, it's probably better to stay on One Scenario at a time instead of trying to work on all of them at once.

BTW - Why didn't the download that I posted above work?

What errors did you receive when loading it?

Yep, I looked at that but that could go on forever! with maybe no fix in the end! :)

What I have found though is a older mod called 'Bull Run Campaigns', which is also by Mark T and is a 5 mile version. I had this tucked away somewhere, like you do!

I copied the 1st Manassas OOB, which is the same name from that over to Mark's 12 mile Manassas mod and it worked! The first scenario loads fine!

Play time tomorrow! :)

I can certainly relate to that! :)

Working on a Shiloh graphics mod is driving me nuts atm - one step forward and two steps back, trying to get some decent looking contrast on the woods terrain, which uses just one texture over large areas which makes it hard to avoid repetition/tiling issues. ;)

Jolly - the separation of the trees away from the roads are done on the "Mapname.bmp" file, I will usually put a border that is two-pixels-wide along the road system.

One-Pixel - doesn't seem to stop the trees from showing up on the roads or the streams.

That's a good tip Davinci. I'm still trying to learn the separations properly, Mapnamebmp and the RGB separations. Trial and error atm but still trying! ;)
