Updated Modifications thread

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Updated Modifications thread

Post by garyknowz »

I know I haven't been around as often as I would like. I teach at two facilities, and have more than a 1 1/2 teaching load over the past two years (PoliSci and Hist). I know we have a "Released Mods" thread, but it isn't updated very often. As a result, I've missed on several mods I would have loved to have had---particularly Chickamauga, Shiloh, and new Gettysburg map. There are more, but an exhaustive list is unimportant to the central point.

Is there any thoughts concerning where to more permanently store modifications as they become available?

Thanks!

Cheers!
Gary K.

Sorry. I suffer from a serious case of typosis. Don't worry, it's not contagious :)

I would love to keep the Released Mods thread updated, but no one follows my advice.. "If you want your mod listed here, please reply to the thread and I'll add it promptly. "

I wish I had the time to scour the forum looking for new mods, but unfortunately I have to rely on the modders posting a link to their mod in that thread.

I'm probably as guilty as anyone here. Am hoping to issue a new version of the Additional ACW Flags & Sprites Mod shortly, and will make sure to post the link in the Released Mods thread.
