Skirmish at Ambrose Hill - Day 5 - Afternoon

THE WINTER WAR simulation continues and is nearing the close of Day 5 of the campaign. Towns across the campaign theatre have been taken primarily through maneuver rather than fighting, but on the afternoon of Day 5 there was a Skirmish at Ambrose Hill.

There is also fighting expected in the vicinity of Romney before the close of the day. The first four days of the campaign were essentially a draw. The outcome of any action around Romney on the afternoon of Day 5 could give the Federals (Gfran64) or Confederates (scottishsoldier) a slight lead.
