The SDK solution worked.

and in another forum I found some compass coordinates...
all,Compass,105,55,,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,,

And it worked, it also did the information on the left side.

Now for the longevity and to respect future people who buy this, I hope they sort these things out

Glad you got it worked out. Right now we are trying to address this on a case-by-case basis, but we are looking into some sort of patch.

I can give more information if needed. I believe with mobile Gpu's and windows scaling, there's a slew of setups that clash with older games and sometimes under developed new titles like Cossacks 3

Also helps to remember that this game was released in 2006, three years before the release of Windows 7.
