Stats: we need them

A replay is just not sufficient.
I would love to know after a battle how many deaths, injured, routed from the map, commanders killed and preferably per Regiment too. So we could see who are the fittest and strongest.
It is a pretty basic thing, no?

It's coming, it was an interface issue IIRC. You can also just hit return to battle and then go to the OOB and look.

I salute you!
That is great news.
Returning to the battle to check the OoBs, well that's just not the same. I do it of course - I keep track of OoB during the battle as well.
But a post-battle check doesn't tell me which Regiments have been completely wiped out or surrendered to the enemy. They are just ... gone.
So if there are some good stats coming up, then I'd be a very happy battlefield commander!

In the mean-time there is a work-around: before you quit the battle press the 'K' key.
This will place into your /Documents/SOWWL directory a csv dump of the current conditions of all units.
This can be opened with any spreadsheet program (or at a pinch, a text editor).
Column G is the unit name. It may be listed more than once, depending on how many enemy units inflicted casualties on it. e.g. Column S gives the name of the unit that inflicted the number of casualties as given in column T.
The unit status is provided (rallying, moving, routed etc) and the number of killed/wounded/deserted men.
It's not the easiest to decipher but it is fairly detailed.

That, or just go back to the battle and view OOB.

Reviewing OoB on the battlefield doesn't help for units that have completely dissappeared. And it's tedious.
The K-button is awesome! Wonderful information - still have to figure out most of the columns but the difference between killed, wounded, surrendered etc. is very clear. Thanks!
