Re: Crash to desktop
I also have Windows 7 with this computer
CyberPower Computer specs
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD5
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-990X processor, 6 cores, 3.47GHz
Memory: 24 GB
Video Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 750Ti, 2GB memory
SSD: Corsair Force Series 3 SSD 240GB
Western Digital Black HD: 2 TB
Case: Sniper Black Edition
Power Supply: Commander 1200 Watts
Sound Card: Creative SoundBlaster Z, Model SB1500
Monitor: Samsung ViewSonic
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
Even on the smallest scenario and Tutorial, the game lags to the point of unplayability even with Uniforms and Map objects set down to Medium.
UPDATE!
I will do more extensive testing tomorrow, but, after I went into Webroot and manipulated it to Accept the autorun and SOWWL.exe files, I was able to run Baudin's attack on Hougomont for some time with no lag problems.
I will do more extensive testing and report back.
Webroot is my AV and it has interfered with some games in the past.

Re: Crash to desktop
Mark - if the webroot tweak does not fix it.
When you next encounter the problem can you
1. Close the game if it is not already
2. Go to Documents/SOWWL folder
3. Copy
sowwl.log
mygui.log
4. Put them in a folder, zip it and attach it here please?

Re: Crash to desktop
I cannot launch the game. It doesn't launch. I've uninstalled it three times. I've ran it with and without administrator mode.
It worked all day the 9th and the morning of the 10th. Now it isn't working.
