New Maps

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Hi

Just ran the scenario with the Manassas revised map.

Got this crash on the loading sequence.

18:00:00 Formation not found: DRIL_LVL3_INF_COLUMN
18:00:00 BAD FORMATION ID: -1

Not too worried about it myself. I only use Sandbox generally but it might affect others.

MarkT,

I also got the following error loading on both scenarios :

MP-August 28 2nd Manassas and MP-August 29 2nd Manassas

Formation not found: DRIL_LVL3_INF_COLUMN
10:00:00 BAD FORMATION ID: -1

Scenario MP-July 21 1st Manassas loads up fine.

Thanks

Try changing the 3 to a 4. That's a formation in the oob, (column R). There may be several occurrences.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.

MTG,

I checked both OOB's and column 'R' had no lvl3 formation.
I then checked the Scenario.csv for August 28th and in Column 'N' Formation, I found the Lvl3 in line 4.
I then checked the Scenario.csv for August 29th and in colums 'N' Formation, I found Lvl3 in line 4 and Line 353.

I changed all 3 entries to Lvl4 and the scenario loaded up fine, no errors.

Thanks for the info

;)

I'm really enjoying these maps! Just for the sake of feedback, on the Cold Harbor map, some of my road-marching troops got into a endless loop road-marching around the Tucker house in the NW corner of the map, including me! I don't know if that would have happened on the first version map.

MarkT - That's usually a collision radius issue on the building, probably set too high. Shoot me an email if you still have trouble.

lvl3s yanked Thanks
looking at Cold Harbor

is anyone having trouble downloading Murfreesboro Summer map?

Edit:
Cold Harbor - other than having the farmyard a turnpike, I moved a bridade around and through the farm, crashing into the buildings... no ill effects.

All movemet was normal.

Matt,
I really don't play with the collision info at all.

Still looking.

Mark,

No problem downloading here either of the Murfreesboro maps, and they both loaded up fine.
