Simply blown away. This is a dream come true. Its so polished, beautifully rendered and dripping with realism. Outstanding! I know its early days and the plan so far is to release the other battles in the campaign, but this engine would be fantastic for other napoleonic battles.
Thank you so much, its better than I dared to dream.

When I first saw Scourge of War Gettysburg it was my hope that someone would make the equivalent for Napoleonic Warfare. I didn't buy Gettysburg initially as I had no interest in the Civil War period. However when I saw the upcoming release of Waterloo I bought Gettysburg so I could get used to the mechanics. I was very impressed with it, and what's more it got me interested in the ACW, and have since read a fair bit of history about the civil war. So thanks for helping to broaden my interests and open my mind!
Waterloo, so far, exceeds my expectations. The graphics are surprisingly clear and sharp compared to Gettysburg, to the point that it doesn't really appear to be 2D sprites any more. There are a couple strangenesses with sprite animations when the men seem to flicker about frantically (especially when ordering forward oblique movements) but I'm sure those will be resolved. From the few hours I've spent playing, the game itself is a good representation of Napoleonic warfare as I know it. In my mind the courier system is absolutely necessary to realistically portray command delays, this is one of my favorite features.
As a long time Napoleonic Wargamer (tabletop with miniatures) you've managed to create the one game I have desired my whole life. For this, many thanks, and I wish you the great success all of your team's efforts deserve.

This for me, I actually got influenced to buy Gettysburg whilst playing the Commander Battle mode on a game called Napoleonic Wars, which was DLC for Mount & Blade Warband, I once mentioned in an off-hand comment that I would love to play a strategy game where you command a certain part of the Army and with other players or the AI you march into battle and fight it out.
Needless to say someone pointed me to Gettysburg and I ended up buying it, Waterloo being announced was a dream come true.
Enough talk, back to battle!
