Thank you for the update. I'm looking forward to playing Waterloo. I just downloaded Windows 10 and will see if the SOW games will work better than on Windows 8.1 Windows 10 is available for techs and experienced computer users what ever that means. It is in testing beta stage with continual updates. Microsoft is looking for feedback. Hopefully SOW will work better. Keep you posted.

I'm already a big fan of the Nap mod for SOWGB, looking forward to a whole game's worth of it!

Sounds like you have the right team on board, for sure.

Having squares working is good news. I am keen to see how you will be interpreting cavalry in the game, given there are so many different types with different effects and behaviours to model. Looking forward to learning more about the game.

Oh - did you have any luck with multi-core cpu optimisations?

cheers

Sounds terrific! My biggest worry is that I may have to wait to get the game, since I'll be in Belgium for the 200th. Save a copy for me!

Seriously looking forward to Waterloo's enhanced MP capabilities. This is what a bunch of us live for...

We have threaded all the LOS calculations and have been running that way for almost a year. We've also tested the MP and it seems to be stable.

Just joined the forum, in this my first post I would like to say hello to all the SOWG community, some of you already know me from the GCM and HITS games as Pepe/Iberalc.

In addition, congratulations to the NSD for developing such a great game, and thanks to all the modders and people that contribute to enhace it.

Looking forward for the Waterloo release
