Just want to ask if two well known historic buildings will be included on the maps.
Both are on current Steinwehr Ave. which is also the Emmitsburg Road.
The first is the Dobbin House. It was (and is) one of the largest stone farmhouses in the area. Anyone who is familiar with Gettysburg probably is familiar with the Dobbin House. It is currently a restaurant/tavern. The Warren map also shows a wooden structure adjacent/south of the house. Today the Dobbin house looks much as it did at the time of the battle except for the addition for the banquet room and gift shop on the north side of the building.
The second is the George George house. That's right, the guy's first and last names were the same. It's the small stone house where Gen. Reynolds body was initially taken. This house also still exits today and looks much as it did at the time of the battle.
Customers will be looking for these buidlings when they explore the map.
