Some of you already saw this a couple years ago from the MMG board, but I have a blog with stories and pictures from my visits to battlefields and other historic sites.
It's pretty small because I haven't been to very many sites yet, but that will all change very soon.

When I lived in Charleston SC, I was most interested in the non-touristy, hard to find sites that a lot of people don't even know exist. One of them is the "Battery #5" in my blog. Also, many of you know that one of my favorite battles of the ACW was "The Battle of Secessionville." I have pictures and other info from the Ft. Lamar in my blog.
Hope you enjoy!

You can submit the link to the site to show up in the links section. I can even provide you a way to do the blog here if you want, but if you want to keep it where it is, at least submit the link so web have it on the links page.

Awesome. That would be great to have the blog here! We can continue this over email, let me know what I need to do next.
Edit: Eh, I was thinking it might be better to keep it where it is and just submit a link for it. It's just a small/simple blog that will probably only be updated a few times a year. I'll go ahead and submit, but thanks anyway.

If things go like i think they will, i'm going to be in Charleston on late October this year; LP, i would love to get your ideas on what would be the best places to see, ACW-wise, while i'm there. I'll be there on business but will take an extra day (or 2) if necessary to get my tours in...
thanks in advance!

Absolutely, I'd be more than happy to fill you in on places to see, things to do. October is a perfect time to go because the weather will be nice.
Let me know when your trip date gets closer and I'll give you the lowdown; Charleston is an
awesome city for a Civil War buff.
