How the memory’s came flooding back

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

How the memory’s came flooding back

Post by Tobe123 »

I stumbled across this web site while looking for something else.

http://www.oldbubblegumcards.com/1960s/ ... index.html

I remember collecting these when I was a nine or ten years old.

I’d forgotten how graphic they were. I’m not sure you could get away with selling something like this now.

Does anyone else remember them?

Hey Tobe,

Do I remember these ? Absolutely ! I remember going to the store on the corner and buying them.

About 6 years ago, I decided that I wanted the complete set of these Topps Civil War cards.

I shopped online on EBAY and completed the entire set bidding on them.

Each card is in a plastic holder.

By far, this set is my prized possession !

;) ;)

Yeah, I've got two complete sets and many more, plus the store display box. All these I collected in the 60's and kept in primo shape...my pride and joy. :) And of course, the LITTLE Confederate bills.

That is a great collection RebBugler !

I remember the boxes and the confederate bills !

As a kid I used to collect everything that had bubble gum in the pack.... :silly:

I wish I still had those from back then, they would be worth money....

:cheer:
