Yes it was rather fun. Much anticipation while waiting for the first signs of the approaching enemy.....even more so than in TC2M because you know you're not playing just against the AI but an actual living, breathing opponent.

It was a good time and I'm looking forward to our next MP test.

It may be a good idea to build in an autosave feature in MP that saves every 5 mins, that way if the game loses synch/crashes, you could resume and the worst you lose is 5 minutes of game time.

That crash sounds like one from Close Combat whenever we played it online. Is is possible there's a cascading error you might have overlooked? Might even be something as simple as a syntax error but god knows those are hard to find.
