Mod list for 1.5

Hi, just got the game and was wondering if someone could provide me with
a list of mods that are compatible with 1.5.

There isn't a list per say, and probably won't be because some modders have come and gone. Best bet is just check out the Modifications Index and the first couple of pages with recently discussed mods should all be 1.5 compatible. Also, I'm pretty sure all the maps are good to go.

Thanks for he quick reply. However I have been unable to activate any mods. I extracted 9 mods in the mods folder, clicked on them to activate (yellow highlight) then clicked on "Use selected mods" at the bottom of the screen. I extracted the mod using winzip. The SOWGB shows;

None however are activated in the actual game? I'm obviously missing something rather basic here.

Your help would be appreciated.

To activate a mod it must have the yellow block next to it. In the screenshot you can see 2nd Manassas Mod is highlighted, but not activated. There are five mods above that are activated (or will be if I click on the check box).

Whoa man, too many mods at once...back off and activate just one or two at a time and get use to the process and see what works with what. They won't all enhance things automatically, some will cancel out others. For example, my Bugles and Flags has an extensive toolbar framework, the Alternate Toolbar will just interfere and cause problems.

the toolbars remain unchanged ? I followed Blaugrana example to the letter.

I deleted the mods and reinstalled to make sure they were not corrupt. No change ?

Please post any further suggestions as I am at a complete loss at how to proceed further.

Just to add I did install Cemetery Hill/Culps Hill Scenario Series sucesfully. Still no mod seems to work ?

Please note, mods do not work with the stock Gettysburg scenarios. Mods work with Sandbox, User Scenarios and Additional Battles.

download the historical scenario mod from the mod thread and unzip to mod folder, enable the mod and then enable the other mods you want to use. Go to single player and then user scenarios and start a scenario from there. The mods should work, they do for me. The historical scenario mod is all the games stock scenarios.

My mistake I overlooked the fact (as posted by rebugler) that mods only work for Sandbox, User Scenarios and Additional Battles. Problem solved! Impressed by all your quick responses and concerns. Once again thanks all.
