I've spent the last hour trying unsuccessfully to set this up.

I think you have been sent error messages each time I have failed.

Sometimes it says that it can't connect to the server.

I don't want to use it for MP, just SP.

Can you release it as a standalone that generates campaign battles for SP, and does not need to connect to your website or server?

If this is one of your old campaigns and you're trying to record a battle you fought a while ago, it might not work and you might need to skip that battle.

No, it's not worth my time to build a stand-alone version -- the online one can share all the exact same code with the GCM multiplayer campaign, making a non-online version would have to be different, and it works fine online for almost everyone.
