1.5: Re-installing PCL and Antietam Expansions

Hooray for me! I got the 1.5 working. Sadly, I have not been able to add the expansions PCL and Antietam to the 1.5 version, whereas they had been working fine in 1.4. Each expansion seems to have its own difficulties.

PCL: The installation seems to run to completion smoothly. I can see the 3 map files for each of the three PCL maps in the Base/Maps folder; however, they do not appear in the battlefield selection menu. Map mods shows up, if that's a clue. RE-DL'd PCL and re-installed, with no luck.

Antietam: This expansion had been working wonderfully in version 1.4. I re-checked with Dave at SOWB who kindly resent my Antietam code; however, the installer doesn't like it. The "Next" button stays grayed-out after all the numbers in the have been entered. I notice that the Antietam code that I have (that doesn't work) is one character shorter than the PCL code (that does work) in its third group of characters. It makes me suspect that my Antietam code is missing a character in the third group.

Thank you for your suggestions,
Tacloban

Hmmm...no tech guys answering

PCL, I guess you mean in Additional Battles, Pipe Creek is not showing up on the left, so, no scenarios. That's odd since the install worked and the maps are showing up. Maybe check in the registry and see if it's listed there. That's all I know.

Antietam, yep, should be 21 characters like Pipe Creek, so, that's gotta be the problem there. I'm sure Dave will check it for you and report.

Regardless, we'll get you fixed up, sorry about the delay.

Only old guys from Arkansas are up this time of night.

But this young whippersnapper form California agrees with you, it's probably a Registry issue.

As far as the Antietam code goes, I'm sure the activation people will take care of you in the morning.

Yep, Dave got my Antietam code fixed early this morning. Who says you can't get good service in the US anymore? Thanks Dave!

Thanks for the replies, but damn! I deleted all my registry entries for Norbsoftdev now that there is a Matrix entry for SOWGB. So I'm back to demo-mode. 2 steps forward...
