MP Play Not Working

Is those going to get fixed?
I can no longer get into the MP lobby.
It doesn't matter if I hit the "enter lobby" or hit the "create a new account" button.

I am pretty sure something is messed up big time.
My first attempt to patch to 1.5 did not work.
I had to uninstall everything and then reinstall and that did not work.
Unfortunately no one here mentioned to deactivate first until after the fact.

I dl'd the 1.5 full game from Matrix and everything appears to work accept for MP.
Additionally the Pipe Creek and Antietam addons cannot be loaded to folders other than the defaults.

Not a good start guys...

The reason is that even though you uninstalled the game, the registry entries still exist. You have to get rid of those registry entries. I have a video up that will help you.

You do not need to uninstall the game, just the entries, and re-install the 1.5 patch again.

Believe me I have installed 1.4 patch 4 times, and installed the 1.5 patch as many times, and I am able to enter the MP lobby with no problems.

Here is the link to the video I made.

Thanks Mike. This worked. It took me a couple of times as there were still lingering items in the registry that I kept missing.

After the reinstall, players need to check their firewall rules as well and update as needed.

That's good news Willard. I was thinking about it some more, and cleaning the registry is about the only way to make sure there are no conflicts.

Very Cool!
