At some point in NSD game development is there going to be choice/option to manually select target? (much like in the Sid Miers' games)
Often I have conflict with targeting (TC2M) of what a beautiful long range gun is shooting at. Would be nice to have directed mass artillary support to take a position or hold off the enemy from overwhelming my units, anywheres' in range of a gun, or from any unit for that matter.
Don't know if that request would bring your game too close to being like Sids', hell, whoever has that engine crawled in a hole and died years ago, much to my dismay.
Many times I feel as though a guns' usefulness is being wasted in recent games, when there are so many opportunities available that a commander might want to direct the fire to.
If you can't do it, you can't do it. however, it would be nice option.
