Question about "CantCharge" in Drills.csv

Hello,
I'm making some tests to have infantry units fight at very close distance, I changed CantCharge in Drills.csv from 0 to 1, but when two units are at close range (from 50 to 20 yards) one of the two start to charge even if CantCharge is set to 1. Is there something wrong with my game (I have 1.4023 version)?

CantCharge just means you can't click the charge button. They will still auto-charge, and you can also quickly click a different formation and then click charge.
So CantCharge isn't really effective.
We are hoping that someday the radius at which troops auto-charge will be allowed to be modded.

Thank you Garnier, I remember that when the game came out the name was "CantCounterCharge", in the SDK manual 1.06 at page 45: "CantCounterCharge = a value of 0 or 1 determining whether or not the formation can't counter charge, 1 means that the formation can't counter charge".
I don't know why it was changed in "CantCharge", and I would like to know what is the meaning of preventing the player to click the charge button.

I think it was intended to prevent charging in maneuver column formation. (It doesn't work because you can switch formation instantly.)

Well I think it was an error to remove the CantCounterCharge option, another thing that I don't understand is the distance of autocharge for infantry, in the SDK manual (page 79) it is 35 yards for infantry and 100 yards for cavalry: I made many tests and sometimes infantry units autocharge at 50 or even 60 yards, while in other situations infantry units arrive at 30 yards or less from the enemy and nothing happens.

The calculation is not necessarily from the unit's flag -- I think if any part of the unit is too close to part of the enemy unit, they might charge. But I don't think any of us know exactly how it is calculated.
