When you play the full Antietam scenario, should you just play it all the way through because I have discovered when I save it and go back, all the soldiers stop shooting. Oh, their icons are on the map but it's just like they all of a sudden stopped seeing each other. Why is this?

Is this happening on the Union scenario or Condederafe? If its the Union, it could be this bug:

Confederate. I saved it and the shootfest was happening, then I reloaded it when I came back and bam! it's like they dropped off of the face of the earth

Yeah, this could be a new bug. Can you please zip up a saved game and email to

How do you zip it up

Well I just reloaded the save game again and they work. I think what I did wrong is I loaded it the first time direct from another Antietam scenario (start a new scenario, click the escape button, then load an old game) and this time I loaded it directly from the starting screen

Ah... You might have discovered what is causing the issue for the other player on the Union scenario.
Glad you got it working again.

Hang in there William, we don't like bad press so we're constantly working to improve game performance. Hopefully the next patch, coming soon, will cure this issue. We assure you and all our fans that we never release anything that is unplayable. These large Antietam scenarios were tested thoroughly and your issue along with the other issue LP posted never occurred though our testing phases. We knew they were a load for most computers to handle but never an AI shutdown which these bugs indicate. Maybe it's certain graphics cards, OS preferences, hardware configurations or something else causing the issue, but we're confident that we'll eventually find it.
Thanks for your patience, and our sincere apologies.

This is indeed good news, maybe the solution is just how you load a saved game. Thanks a bunch Sir.

Don't worry. I wasn't going to go screaming around about how the game sucks just because of one little messup. Stuff happens, I know that
