The Video is a small recording of the new map created by NSD. If you advance to 6:17 you will notice some graphical glitches taking place in the field as I pan my view.

Hey, you have some disappearing terrain sprites there. Interesting, haven't seen that bug since several patches ago. I assume you are using 1.4? If so, I would hate for this bug to rare it's ugly head again, but I thought for sure we fixed it..

Cool video though, thanks for posting!

Yeah I am (version 1.4).

I do love this map, it's gorgeous... the feeling I get playing this map is not all hope is lost as I get from crikey's Olustee Map. You can breath in this map, in Olustee you can almost feel the dampness of the swamps stifling your breathing.... Incredible work guys as always.

Keep them coming... :)

Michael,

Cool video !!

Looking at the 6:13 minute mark, your commander is visible and disappears around 6:15. Now look at the center island about 6:10 where it shows the compass, and then look at it when your commander disappears. I see the 'F' follow key on.... I do notice that in some of the video you do use the 'F' follow key, then it is taken off. Could it be possible that you hit the 'F' follow key around 6:14 again and it turned on ?

;)

If you notice, his units are near the edge of the map. Sometimes it reads the graphics and sometimes it doesn't and it depends on which side (N, S, E, W) you view it from. Its just how the program reads graphics off the map, because Mike's troops are along the Northern border and the dissapearing sprites are across the playing field. Its not any doing of Matt, it how the sprites are read off the map by the engine/program.
Cool video Mike! I love the panoramic views of the sky and the close ups of the terrain. That is a good looking map.

I only use the "F" key to re-situate or get my bearings when I'm moving about. It's all possible at 6:14 I did press the "F" key but I'm not sure why that would have any effect on losing sprites while panning the camera, but then again I have no idea about this stuff.

:)

Thanks 2nd Texas Infantry. I recorded it as a bug report really instead of taking screenshots which is difficult to gauge. Maybe I should have put it in the bug area.

It is fun recording your games..

Cheers 2nd Teaxas.
