I strongly suggest that picking up a copy of the Mount & Blade Warbands series is a must. The modifications are outstanding (modding community), and well worth every penny spent.

Now I have wasted days playing Warband! :laugh: This may be my favorite game ever,( aside from Scourge Of War I am using the the 1257 mod of medieval Europe! THANK YOU! Would have never knew it existed.

Mount and Blade (and the sequel Warband) is possible the greatest game of all time - tied joint first with SOW:)

Check out the american frontiers mod and 'prophecy of pendor'.

i havent bought the last two add-ons, its all eye candy, not much gameplay enhancements. There are plenty of free mods that do just that.

i heard a rumour of a naval/pirate type version coming out which would be cool.
