Scourge of War Boards

Hi, any clues how to get around this, I have completed BG03 ages ago and was promoted in that scenario, yet when I try to launch GB15 the message says I have to complete 03 first.

Do you need a MV on BG03? I can't remember off the top of my head.

thanks for responding con20or. The GB03 scenario requires 3000 points for a major, and my previous last score was 3568 as displayed on the scenario selection screen. So not sure what I need to do!

At the screen where you pick the scenarios, the one with the map, there is a button (a star) which will show you your high scores and whether yours are high enough for promotion. Look at your score for GB03 and make sure it says "promoted". If for some reason your highscore.dat file has been damaged or is gone,you won't be able to be promoted and will have to play it again to unlock the carryover scenario.

Also, what level are you playing on? I think if you got a score on an easier difficulty level and you're now on a more difficult one you won't be eligible for promotion.

Yes it says promoted for GB03 on that screen, difficulty level normal. I have not changed the difficulty level during the playing of the game on any of the scens. So it's got me stumped, by rights I should be able to play GB15. :-/

It's possible the cont file or NSC file is missing or corrupted. That's the only thing I can think of that would cause this. Try beating GB03 again and see if that takes care of it.

You should by the looks of your screenshot.

Have you made any changes to the game, reinstalled it, or anything like that?

I would contact support@norbsoftware.com and see what they say.

I've played the scenario again (higher score as well this time and the game now lets me play GB15. Thanks for all assistance.
