No activation code

Hi,
i just bought the game (which i am really looking forward to play!!), ordering the cd and rulebook version. I have not been sent an activation code. Is that becuase I must wait for the physical product to arrive? I ordered the physical product because I wanted to get the printed rulebook, but still want to start playing ASAp. I live in the UK, so will have to wait 2-3 weeks before the physical thing arrives. is there any way to activate the game before the game is delivered?
