Names of replacement commanders

Can someone please explain to me where these names are stored please?

I would like to produce some alternative names for a Little Big Horn scenario. At the moment, if Crazy Horse becomes a casualty, he is likely to be replaced by Colonel Roberts or some such, which looks a bit odd

You have to download the SDK. It is in the logistics folder. How will you replace the cavalry officers that go down? I assume that all of them will eventually.

From your question, I assume that there is just one list, rather than one for each side. If so, that is indeed a problem

There is just one list. It was populated by the names of junior officers listed as killed or seriously wounded at Gettysburg. As only a truly Monk class student of the battle would know which side they fought for there was no reason to segregate by side.
