Different Battle Plan
In the historical battle of antietam, The battle started at the Cornfield, in the East and West Woods, the Confederates were pushed back, and that sort of thing. The game is programmed for all that. Now, if I was (as Confederate Commander) to have an alternate strategy where I pull back to the sunken lane and stretch my line out all the way there, across the map, will the Union still attack, or is the Union Army programmed to stop moving when they reach certain objectives?
God darn. Holy testicles. All them people.

Re: Different Battle Plan
In the scenarios, the enemy is scripted to attack where the opposing side was posted historically. However, I know in my scenarios (I would have to check RebBugler's) that they are almost always given the "All Out Attack" command after they are given their movement coordinates. This means that if they attack an area and find that you aren't there, they will come looking for you..
