Here it is:
In the valley of the hallway, two units: The 1st Confederate Battalion, General Lee, including 1 company of calvary, 1 Napoleon, and 1 regiment of infantry
The 1st US Mixed Regiment, General Meade, including 1 company of sharpshooters, 1 Napoleon, 1 company of black volunteers, 2 companies of regulars, and 1 company of the Irish Brigade, the infantry lead by colonel Chamberlain.
So, the Union forces are marching south down the valley:
2 companies as skirmishers.
And the confederates, marching north...

1 company of calvary in the vanguard.
The distance between the forces brought mutual sighting:
It was obvious that the Union was outnumbered by one company or so.
However, General Meade
and General Lee
resolved to fight it out and the skirmishers took to the field.
Each side deployed their troops and cannon.
Lee ordered an advance and the regiment went forward into the picket-fire.
Men were easily shot down by the green-clad sharpshooters.
Still, the advancing Confederates didn't care, and were promptly brought under accurate artillery fire. The Union troops to the rear of the skirmishers gave a cheer.

Boom!
Aggh!
The confederates then came within firing range, with deadly results.
Men were not falling, they were going down in clusters, with the whistle of solid and case shot raining down on both sides.
However, the returning fire at the Union troops, was equally deadly. The fewer Union troops were also being swept aside like a scyth. Both sides were shrouded by smoke (imagine it for now!) and men were dropping like flies in a toilet.
To break the stalemate, the Confederates charged, screaming the Rebel Yell!

"Yah! Yip-eee-yaaa!"
Men dropped at every step, but the valient troops of the Confederacy stood strong.
Then, out of the smoke, the Confederates saw a line of glistening bayonets and the dull gleam of a 12lb Napoleon waiting...
What will happen now? (reply on the other topic and I'll take the most popular part.)
