Getting Started?

Hello all,

I was wondering a few things. Firstly, is it possible to play Napoleonic Era and still play the Civil War version? If so, how do you go about downloading the correct files to start playing- I saw some Screenshots and was interested in trying it out. Thanks!

I can still play the Civil War game (at least the scenario's) with the napoleonic mod enabled. Wont be able to play sandbox or user scenario's though, but you can simply disable and renable the mod as you like in game.

NC,

Just remember to turn off ALL the Napoleonic Mods - I have four running, but 2 of those I did not make for ditributiion to the general public. It might be a little odd if your ACW infantry suddenly had a rifle-musket range of only 100 yards, eh? Fight well!

Actually... 100 yards was the average range of ACW firefights, so it wouldn't be wrong ;)

Tank,

True. We've also done this one to death. You'll see if you do a search for "Musket ranges, Firefights, etc."
