Hi, I seem to be getting a problem here with the carryover.
I completed AN7 eventually with a score of 5369, 5000 being the minimum for the carryover to AN14, but when I then try and load AN14 I get a message saying I must first complete AN7 to load this scenario!

Hope someone can shed some light on this?

I'm always on normal, but I would'nt have thought that would stop a carryover?

It doesn't.

Do you have a file with the scenario name and a .NSC extension in your ...\Work\Saved Games\Cont folder? That's what determines whether the scenario will carry over.

Something's amiss because 7 carry's over to 11, and 5 to 14. Maybe the message is wrong...

Well, RB, seems you have confused things a tad more

Here's a grab of the selection screen clearly showing AN14 as a carryover from AN7!


Born2see - I don't have any antietam .NSC files in there, just some old Gettysburg ones, so I guess this is the problem. The game presumably should dump a file there after successfully completing AN7 which has not happened. Like I say, my score was a major victory (and was not easy!)

Nevermind, my old brain saw GB, not AN.

You found a bug Sir. Just checked... When we added the new Antietam banners and newspaper articles, the carryover=1 got wiped. This was after all the major testing and thus slipped through the cracks, this being the only carryover AN scenario.

Guess you're the first to win this scenario, and now, ya gotta do it again, once it's patched...Sorry about that Sir.

I'm just so proud to be a bug finder (oh yeh, as if I meant it:)), and the 1st winner of the scenario! (takes a bow)! : )

Why wait for the patch...fix it now. Go into the AN07/scenario.ini and add CarryOver=1
