Artillery effects
For the game, I would be interested in seeing artillery that was smart! Troops can pull off a cannister round in 20 seconds or so, seasoned, because there is no reason to aim. I am assuming that the lenthy time in TC2M is the result of aiming, but for cannister, you can fire one after another, actually causing the regiment to stop its charge, something that happens not very often in TC2M. I think I heard about the graphics of the pieces actually being loaded, so that is good.
One last thing is the limbering and unlimbering time is very unrealistic. Troops could drag the cannon and prop it up to limber it efficently, and taking it apart doesn't take too long either. The minute is way to long in TC2M.

This is going to depend on the testers. I don't play the game enough, nor can I view it in the correct aspect. I depend on people to play and let me know how things should work. Right now it's JC and PC, but we'll bring in more after the new year.

I think if you take TC2M and polish it, and u fix what that huge community needed, u'll have a great huge game.
The aforementioned guys know exactly what the needs are so it obviously will be a great game. Maximum trust, really.

Don't take it personally GShock, just a little personal rivalry between JC and me...

JC,
I have been doing a lot of reading on civil war artillery tactics and making some notes. When I can get my ideas/facts straight I'll post them. I will eagerly await your response.
