Help with screen resolution

Hey all

Just bought an Asus g74 to play the game. It's is fantastic, especially with the 17.3 in screen. Only problem is that the game won't fill the screen . How do I change the resolution so the game takes up the screen?

Do you have Full Screen selected in the Options screen?

Also, keep in mind the main menu screens will not take up the whole screen if you select some of the higher resolutions. There will be a black box around them.

Have you tried every resolution? Sometimes you have to change them around to find one that works the best. For instance, the only resolution on my laptop that will take up the whole screen is 1900x whatever it is.

I found it helpful to have both your computer and the game resolution be the same. That way they are not fighting each other.
