Another newb question from someone who should know better...
Playing SP Sandbox battle. My first movement orders by courier are always ignored by the infantry commanders (division or brigade), but carried out by the artillery brigade commanders. If I give commands directly (a la TC2M), the infantry responds as expected. After they first start moving, then they seem to carry out courier-borne orders, as per their commander's styles. This happens with or without ReBugler's tool bar mod. Patch 1.3 installed. Any suggestions?
Example message:
Commander Noitall,
Move your unit to "Funny Farm". Use Roads.
Then I click on check ("Send Message")button.
Thank you,
Tacloban

Re: SP Sandbox Initial Couriers
You need to give them a formation to assume when they reach their destination. Your order should be something like this:
1. Move your unit to Funny Farm
2. Face your unit east.
3. Unit form double line.
4. Use roads where available.
And off they go.
1. Move your unit to Funny Farm
2. Face your unit east.
3. Unit form double line.
4. Use roads where available.
And off they go.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.

Thank you for your quick reply. Not to different from TC2M; maybe I should read the manual.

MTG - I always hit the time-display after choosing the Commander - So has this been fixed where you no longer have to hit the time to execute this order immediately. You need to give them a formation to assume when they reach their destination. Your order should be something like this:

OK, thanks for the reply on this. There is no need to do that now. That problem was fixed in the 1.3 patch.
Now, if I can just break that habit of clicking the time, it sort of became a part of the routine when giving orders.
