BloodBathII plus Butternut

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

BloodBathII plus Butternut

Post by RebBugler »

With this revision the 3rd page of Death sprites is added, sending the blood spray to the ground...so, I stepped on the toes of another mod...sorry about that.

Newly added are head hits, up to four per sprite, out of 16 possibilities...more intense, you'll see. :woohoo: Also, some decapitations, but rare...so a surprise feature, if that wows ya.

The yellow Rebs were just too glaring. I've toned them down to appear more of what I regard as butternut. I painted my Rebs as a kid, I should know. :P Still a little too yellow for true butternut, but I couldn't mess with the colors or other things would screw up, so, I made them darker. Tried adding brown transparent layering, but that was too tedious, thousands of frames to do, and that just turned out splotchy from a few samples. Anyway, at least they are not as bright yellow now, BTW, this small adjustment took forever...I don't envy the sprite guys. I'll release them separate from BloodBath if anyone requests.

Big file so I used 7zip. It's free online, do a simple search, then download and install in order to extract this file. One mod, BloodBathII, with butternut included:

I love it! BloodbathII.... Sounds like a movie I rented last week.

Make sure you talk to that guy who's doing the Zulu mod. I want to see a few British heads stuck on a spear instead of the flags(your idea from a different post).

PS: Everyone gives me a bad time for the hours I keep. What time is it in Arkansas?

Speaking of Arkansas, are you anywhere near Eureka Springs? I had a friend whose family owned some property there. She used to bring me T-shirts and of all things, salsa! Not exactly Tex-Mex but good.

If you are referring to my mod, man go right ahead, mine's crap anyway! If not, no problem mine is still crap (might as well be honest). :)

Damn download is taking forever...I want to see some heads roll.

Cheers, and thanks!

Hi.

I really like it, Good going!

I noticed that there is no blood (on the ground) for the Union side. Will there be another update sometime in the future?

Cheers.

Huh? Should be blood on the ground for both sides. Anyone else seeing this?
