Scourge of War Boards

Hi, I'm on the AP Hill Carryover Scenario, the third one where I defend the left line of Cemetary Ridge. I can't get my units to hold positions at the beginning of the game, they all walk away from the stone walls and go forward to the Union once they arrive.

Any way I can try to get them to hold positions?

The "hold at all costs" button is the strongest order to get units to stay put, but the commander's may not always strictly follow that order. The only sure way to get units to hold their position is to TC the brigade commanders. A quick way to do this is to select a Division commander then press the zero key on the numpad and all brigade commanders will be TC'd. Keep in mind that when brigades are TC'd, you have complete control over them and their regiments (you probably already knew that).
