Withdrawing my Support for X-Fire due to content on what is now GFIRE.

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

Withdrawing my Support for X-Fire due to content on what is now GFIRE.

Post by Michael Slaunwhite »

Hi.

I think myself a very tolerant man in most cases, but this is something I cannot support. I noticed today, X-Fire has been taken over as it appears now as a Gay Gaming site which I cannot in good conscience take part in. The new name for the site is GAYMZ, and has a half naked man with a bottle...anyway I am royally pissed off about it.

I will be pulling the Scourge of war - Gettysburg from this site because I can't on my part have this excellent game in any way tied to something like this.

I no longer support X-Fire, and I apologize to Norb, and the NSD team.

Note to members of the SOWgb support on Xfire: I will be starting to remove you kind people from the sowgb support form as of now so that I can delete it from Gfire's site.

Thank you.

It is quite funny, and they did go all out. I didn't even know it was April 1st. All of that hard work...gone...:(

Oh well, back to the drawing board. Damn.

Hi.

It appears that it was an April Fools Joke. All the same it was, and is irresponsible for them to do something under the guise of it being a joke. They are responsible to not only their members, but to the gaming companies which their site supports.

Anyway, like I said, it was a joke (in very poor taste).
